And so it goes…. then maybe we could vote REPUBLICAN!! What a swell idea! Then, after that fails… we could vote Democrat. But that never works out, so then we could vote Republican. And when that leads us to the brink of insanity, then we could vote Democrat. But when the Democrats blow it out the rear end, then we could vote Republican. Having fun yet? Only cartoonists benefit from any of this.

Lying rightwing anarchists got their butts kicked in New York’s 23rd despite the best efforts and monetary support of the GOP – First Democrat in history to win the seat.
Party on, Bob.

At least we lost to a Demoncrat. That to me is MUCH better than FUNDING a Demoncrat, like the GOP was doing with that disgusting liberal witch who dropped out of the race.
I don’t vote GOP to be a left-wing twin to the Demoncrats. Either the GOP puts forth Conservatives or it can lose for all I care. A GOP liberal does every bit as much damage as any Demoncrat ever could. The Demoncrat Party is unapologetically, unfailingly far left. They don’t run Conservatives in their party. How could they? “Conservative Demoncrat” makes about as much sense as “Jewish Nazi”…
We have a two party system for a reason. Give the voters a choice. Not just a pair of identical twins joined at the hip who pretend to be rivals, as was the case in NY23 back when it was the Donkey and the Witch running neck and neck….

Responding to ANandy:
Had McCain picked Mitt Romney instead of the Bumbling fool from the Frozen Tundra known as Alaska, he would have won by a Landslide.

Scott – you do such a great job dehumanizing, labeling and scapegoating people. It’s a black-mark for all Christians that you count yourself among them. Your hatred of people is just sad.

Had McCain picked Romney, he would have alienated the Christian Right and STILL lost the election.
It was a “Hail Mary” move that didn’t work.

Glenn Beck’s a Mormon, and he doesn’t alienate me. Nor would Romney.
Walking on the waves towards Jesus is tricky. You can’t take your eyes off Him for a moment. If you do, you start to sink…
I think both Glenn and Mitt keep their gazes locked onto Jesus pretty good. Especially Glenn. He’s visibly growing in Christ, I’ve seen it very clearly these past few years…
