Polls tend to express what the least informed think. Just watch “Jay walking” sometime.

Gorrell’s Obama reminds me so much of Don Martin. Research showed Martin died in 2000– was sorry to hear that. Maybe it’s some sort of tribute.

Ah, this is nothing. Remember the cutting cartoons he did when Bush’s poll numbers were down the tubes? Heh heh. Yeah, I don’t either.

    He would never say that.
    It would never happen.

Hey brilling–Dems do nothing without polls. Bush, rightfully could care less about the polls.

HOWGOZIT: To say that Bush “could care less” about polls suggests he cares a great deal about them, such that caring less is possible for him.

If he does not care at all, then you should say, “Bush could NOT care less.”

ET: I think that’s another example of the Right’s “black is white, up is down, and good is evil” mentality.

Howgozit: Bush could care less period.

BTW: The only poll that shows Obama in disfavor is the Rassmussen one. All others (even Fox) show him favorable.

BEN (and HUMPH) The toon isn’t about Obama favorability, it is about “Country - Right Direction/ Wrong Direction:

    Wrong direction: 55.5
    Right direction: 38.8

Indeed - and if you look at Congressional approval I think we know why the “direction of the country” is negative. I don’t think it’s based on Obama numbers, but Congressional ones.
