    BTW, so far this term 200 congressional health care bills have been filed. I challenge anyone to find the actual ones filed by the Republicans. Not newsworthy. And as a practical matter they are not. Whatever the Dems eventually want is what they will get.

    DrCanuck I don’t know about the Canadian Parliament but here in the US hundreds and hundreds of bills are filed. Not passed mind you but filed. Think about it if each Congressman only files one we already have 435. The subject matter can vary from sublime to ridiculous. Today is John Smith day he invented the square wingnut.

    Do you mean amendments? 160 of them were filed by Republicans and added to the bill. And I do hope you’re right about your last sentence. A watered down bill is next to useless.
