More similarities then differences. But using the Nazi is just so not cool. He is closer to the USSR in Ideology. I mean what is that name for those 32 “jobs” he has created to over see us?

Diplomacy means you talk to people in order to get them to do what you want or at least to come to agreement. You don’t decide to talk to people – heads of other governments – as a reward for them doing what you want.

Bush is the one who looked into Putin’s eyes and saw someone he could work with. Obama told Putin to get his act together and become someone we can work with. So, why isn’t that Bush standing there with his arm around the dictator?
ezdeb said, 4 months ago
Wait, righties: Is President Obama like Hitler? or is it Stalin and Marx, as y’all have also asserted? Is it the KKK, or the One World Order? You don’t get to just compare him with every shocking dictator ever. Yeah, Bush really had an anti-dictator, straight-shootin’ honest squint that worked for him! Putin’s soul was his, and he held hands and kissed with the Saudi (Bin Laden’s) royalty. Cheney made deals w/Saddam. You people are uninformed and illogical; but even worse, you are proud of it! Wow

Hey, lefties, why quibble about Hitler vs Stalin? There’s nothing at all illogical about defining communism as Marxist fascism. Nor about defining Nazi as the Germans did– National Socialism.
ezdeb said, 4 months ago
Hey, jk, Hitler’s and Stalin’s views showed disdain each for the other, and were opposing in premise, outlook and implementation. Other than that, nothing to “quibble” about, I guess. They are all the exact same; bad. Not your philosophy, tho. That’s different. We can lump ALL OTHERS together and throw our president in with them. Alrighty, then. No pun intended! I’m constantly amazed these days at how righties have no problem placing all other individuals except themselves into a “them” category. You would (at least verbally) assert your individuality and complexity, but you casually lump fascism, communism, marxism, national socialism, etc together with no sense of complexity or history. Huh.

Ronald Reagan supported Saddam for 8 years. He also supported Osama and his Taliban Army for 8 years. Ronald Reagan is the reasom why we have the Illegal Immigration problem today. Ronald Reagan is the one who gave Blanket Amnesty to all Illegal Immigrants if they had lived her for 7 years. Guess What? They Lied, we had no way to prove how long they were here because they were here illegaly.
Funny how the Conservatives forget this all important bit of History.
Gladius said, 4 months ago
The immigration issue was old when Reagan was in office. The only problem with the amnesty was that stupid provision. You aren’t going to keep them out so you better figure out how to live with them.
