    Tribalism has and continues to be the fact of society in many areas. Deal with it BozOTUS. He knew this before declaring Afghanistan the “right war” and one which must be won.

    Now BozOTUS dithers for a year while leaving our troopers dangling.

    The “warlords” have never been out of real control. We have just repeatedly messed up by picking the wrong ones to back. Hmmm, like when GHW Bush as CIA director backed Noriega, before he left CIA, became president, and then decided the guy he put in power was a “bad” guy???

    Afghanistan is, and always has been, like herding cats. Giving them each their own scratching post makes more sense than putting a canary in charge of them.
