Wasn’t that the election Bush won?
(Wonder how many wanted to vote for Spud?)

Bozo and Bush in the same poll? I thought Bush was Bozo. Sorry, Bozo. No offence.

Nah, you’re thinking of Bush II (W)

Correct. Bush I was a moderate Republican in favor of many moderate things like a woman’s right to choice etc..etc.. He was the person who coined the term VooDoo economics for Reagan’s Economic policies..until it was apparent he wasn’t going to get the nomination over Reagan, he than changed all his ‘values’ in order to get the Vice Presidency with the knowledge that this made him the number one choice to follow Reagan when the time came. This former CIA director was in many ways more scary than his son who proved to be rather dense.

So much so, that President O’Bama awarded him the Medal of Freedom (a Democrat giving one to a Republican sort of quashes your “scary” notions — the man is ill, give it a rest already).

Dropping like a brick would have described Mr. Romney campaign to a T. Not that he would have believed or Karl Rove….

No, that was the (first) election Bill Clinton won.
(Unless you are referring to the Republican primaries which Bush did win by a landslide.)

No look at Opus’ paper again- it was Bush Sr. vs. Dukakis, 1988.

Gentlemen, you are absolutely right. I got my cables crossed with Dilbert.

While Bloom County is re-running strips from 1988, Dilbert is re-running strips from 1991. Hence my confusion (I try to visualize these strips in the context in which they were drawn).

    My excuses.
