Oliver Wendell Jones! Haven’t seen him in years!
I wonder how Mrs. Schwartz is going to react to a shuttle in her beans….

I sometimes wonder if the Earth might have been more normal and peaceful if we had never set foot into the computer age. But then you could say the same thing about the automobile, the airplane and thermonuclear weapons too I suppose.

Yeah jrbj, the dark ages were so….. enlightening! Progress happens no matter what. I’ve always enjoyed Oliver, hope this thread continues for a while :)

Sometimes a dad can’t help but be proud of his son for doing the wrong things.
It must be a guy thing.

Oliver should have landed the shuttle on Steve Dallas’s House. He deserves it, the creep.

Doc Toon said “Sometimes a dad can’t help but be proud of his son for doing the wrong things” - very true, but it sure doesn’t work the same for our daughters, does it? Can’t help it, though…

Should have programmed the shuttle
To land on the White House
THINK of the possibilities!

Ushindi - I had one son who, though I am very proud of him, has caused me plenty of worry.
Never had any daughters, think I’m glad.

Good luck, Mrs Schwartz, wherever you are.
Just think of Buzz Aldrin.
Ya know?

It;’s possible that the Father-Son phenomenon has to do with our sons doing what we wish we had done.
Possible, but in the light of Calvin’s Dad and his reactions to Calvin’s behavior, perhaps unlikely.
