Seems like Bush II’s economic policies have resulted in making the rich “RICHER” and the rest of US have to wait for the money to trickle downward (Reagonomics: Supply-Side Economics OR trickle-down theory of economics). Well (big, deep hole the economy has sunk into) that didn’t WORK! And now alot of folks aren’t able to WORK.
A variation on what Oliver Hardy “That’s another fine mess you’ve gotten US into.”
Any guesses WHO used to refer to Reaganomics as Voodoo Economics - Something you can google if you aren’t old enough to remember ;-))

You Socialist naysayers won’t have to wait much longer. Before you know it Obama will have those who worked hard and succeeded in improving themselves - that’s how they rich got rich by the way - pulled (i.e. taxed) down into the muck with the rest of you. Obama’s spending frenzy has resulted in a national debt of 11.7 trillion (yes, with a T) dollars, and he sure didn’t inherit that from Bush. Rising in concert with the national debt is the unemployment rate. And all you middle and lower class who Obama promised wouldn’t get taxed are about to get taxed just as much as the rich in bogus environmental and health care bills that do nothing but still tax everyone to death. And you praise what’s happening to us now because you think Reaganomics didn’t work? Wow! That’s totally mind boggling.

going on 30 years. since they’re talking Reaganomics, it’s probably at least 1985 to 1987, but that’s just a guess.

BTW, it was George (HW) Bush (AKA George the First) who coined the Voodoo Economics tag; the same one who told us “KNOW new Taxes!” (but we didn’t read his teleprompter).
