In “Going Bye Bye” Walter Long threatened to tie Stan and Ollie’s legs around their necks. Steve Dallas makes similar threats to Opus all the time. Watch out, Stan and Ollie!! By the way, love Stan’s Line “I Certainly did.” Sounds like something the real Stan Laurel would say.
Another 3 Stooges affectionado - but perhaps a trick question. I recognized Moe Howard, Larry Fine but had to google if the last Howard was Shemp Howard or Curley Howard. It was both:
“The Stooges got their name and their start in a vaudeville act called Ted Healy and his Stooges. Brothers Moses (Moe) and Shmuel Howard ( Shemp) (original last name Horwitz)”
Shemp left the trio and was replaced by: “… brother Curly Howard (real name Jerome, called “Babe” by family members…”
It’s amazing what one can learn on the net - saves time doing research going thru the Stacks in the library (it’s not the same as the good old days of Dewey Decimal card filing system and/or periodical collections) - actually, I don’t miss the “old” system ;-))
It is* a shame, though, that it’s not *all on the Net by any means. And the reliability of information found out here is ahem shall we say, questionable? Hug a reference librarian today! (But ask first for permission; wouldn’t want you banned!)
pbarnrob - I agree about the “reliability” of the source. I’m one of “those” who doesn’t always believe what I see or hear. Did U see The Colbert Report show where Jeff Goldbloom shows up AFTER he had been reported dead? I know it was on other programs, but watching Jeff & Stephen made it even funnier. If U missed it, U can stream old episodes The Colbert Report on Comedy Central’s web site.
I used to go the reference library in college back in the 70’s. Could do some serious weight training looking up stuff in the Index Medicus section. Only went to the “tower” a few times where they kept the really, really old collections. I don’t miss the D.D. card filing system but my laptop doesn’t have the same feel/smell as a 100 year old book.

That explains a lot about Steve Dallas’s personal hygiene!

Um… he’s not wearing any pants.

Moonshine and champagne glases. That’s kind of Steve all over.

Steve really needs to get rid of his cigarette. That gunk is probably flammable.

Um. One normally doesn’t wear pants in a hot tub! Any of you who do, well, that explains something about you!

And if you have any further problems, just call our emergency crew: Howard, Fine, and Howard.
(Curious to know how many here will get that.)

Is it me, or am I the only female who loves the Three Stooges?
