Why is it Americans give communists so much credit? I live in Communist China and they make up the a disorganized, contradictory, and nepotistic government to semi-function.

This is like a Warner Brothers cartoon; Yosemite Sam is so single-mindedly determined to blast Bugs, he doesn’t even notice that the dadburn critter is a-settin’ on his head.
“Pinko” originally meant Socialist (the implication being that socialism was to communism as pink is to red). However, by the 1960’s it usually was synonymous with “communist” although carrying a more pejorative sense.
