If that is the Pauli Rubino I’m thinking of, he died LONG ago. The only fatality Major League Human Cannonball ever had.
While performing with the Calgary Stampeders, he collided mid-flight with a Canada Goose. They never could be sure if he died from the impact with the goose, or with the ground.
The goose survived.
