This high-flying single-panel comic spotlights and savors the foibles, stupidity, and goofiness of our colorful unnatural world. It's all about attitude, as the denizens of Bluemel's realm devote themselves to surviving life's pitfalls, whether nesting in quicksand or coping with the technological advances of the tapeworm. From word play to fowl play, from weirdness in the wilderness, to the irony of iron ore, Birdbrains makes the offbeat seem natural. It's a feature to laugh at: if it makes you think, you're working too hard.

And that’s where the resort’s going to be when it’s built.

I think they spelled ‘Senile’ wrong…or maybe it’s me because I see a face in the left grassy hill…

Which will ruin the scenic view..

Then we will have artistic rendering of artist’s rendering of the scenic view. Reminds me of going to the State Park and just touring the tourist info building and going home.

Yeah, a couple of ’em. And the one in his hair that looks like an Indian chief.

Every time we go through the Grand Tetons, we see lots of artists doing their Scenic Views. I wonder how many of them were painting the Monument Valley scenic view?

That painting is more scenic than the real deal.
Thom, you have out-done yourself with this one. I love it.

Do you think the artist is copying the great artist Thom Bluemel?

Am I mistaken? This looks like a repeat, or a redo of a similar one.

Many developers do this with town names: Glenview or Oak Forest—when it looks more like the scenery behind the painting…
