I’ve heard that pressing escape will stop an animated gif but it doesn’t work in my browser so I can’t verify that.

Interesting.
Of course, Gen 6:19-20 says one pair of each animal and bird, but Gen 7:2-3 has 7 pairs of the clean animals and birds and one of the unclean. Chickens are kosher (Jewish penicillin=chicken noodle soup), so they must be clean, so there could be 7 pairs, depending on whether Noah was a Yahwist (yes, seven) or Elohist (no, one pair only). After all, Noah did need some spares for sacrifices after the flood receded!
