This high-flying single-panel comic spotlights and savors the foibles, stupidity, and goofiness of our colorful unnatural world. It's all about attitude, as the denizens of Bluemel's realm devote themselves to surviving life's pitfalls, whether nesting in quicksand or coping with the technological advances of the tapeworm. From word play to fowl play, from weirdness in the wilderness, to the irony of iron ore, Birdbrains makes the offbeat seem natural. It's a feature to laugh at: if it makes you think, you're working too hard.

Ah, but it’s NOT the same day every year. It changes, because it follows the Lunar Calendar, not the Gregorian Calendar.

Another day when I didn’t find time to check in before running club.
At least ML left some faces for me to find.
There’s a head and shoulders in the bush to the right of the bunny ears, about 2/3 of the way up the ear. Not sure if that’s included in the top left batch of faces or not. There’s also a glasses wearing face slightly above the bunny’s tail. There’s also a wickedly grinning face in the grass above the eggs, perhaps a fox. I can’t decide if the thing in the lower left corner of the panel is supposed to be some non-grass plant of a butterfly.
And there’s a two way face — one that two faces share an eye. A little ways in from the top right corner is where it’s located. The left and “center” eyes are part of a face that could be seen as a bird with an open beak or just an open-mouthed face. The “center” and right eyes belong to a face that could be interpreted as the same face as the other with mouth or beak closed.

Not sure if anyone mentioned the face high on grass against the bush above and right of the Ether Bunny’s ears. Also, a bug face in the front egg, and a clown face in the one behind it.
