This high-flying single-panel comic spotlights and savors the foibles, stupidity, and goofiness of our colorful unnatural world. It's all about attitude, as the denizens of Bluemel's realm devote themselves to surviving life's pitfalls, whether nesting in quicksand or coping with the technological advances of the tapeworm. From word play to fowl play, from weirdness in the wilderness, to the irony of iron ore, Birdbrains makes the offbeat seem natural. It's a feature to laugh at: if it makes you think, you're working too hard.

That outfit is certainly part of my idea of paradise.

OK, if she can’t go into Eden, how about into Ushindi’s? Plenty of room here…Wait a minute - by now she’d be even older than I am. Never mind….

It’s much better to enter Eden in the outfit in which you were born.

If she is out of Eden, then she was cast out by a higher authority than Adam and was forbidden to return no matter what she wore.

Easy there oldseadog. It’s just a joke. My take is that they are in the “suburbs” of Eden. Ol’ Dad isn’t letting his little girl go uptown dressed like that. Things haven’t changed in over 5,000 yeras……..

@ stonehenge : That’s right. My comment was going to be, “or out of Eden dressed like that.” But of course, no one may re-enter Eden anyways….. so she just can’t walk arounf like that, rightd
:-D
