This high-flying single-panel comic spotlights and savors the foibles, stupidity, and goofiness of our colorful unnatural world. It's all about attitude, as the denizens of Bluemel's realm devote themselves to surviving life's pitfalls, whether nesting in quicksand or coping with the technological advances of the tapeworm. From word play to fowl play, from weirdness in the wilderness, to the irony of iron ore, Birdbrains makes the offbeat seem natural. It's a feature to laugh at: if it makes you think, you're working too hard.

Well this is certainly the most offensive comic I’ve seen in a while. The only way to survive in the wild is to dress up like a Native American and kill white guys? Come on. I guess Bluemel is the real “Birdbrain” here!

That would be more fun than the “Reality” shows they’re hurling out now..

Survivor meets Running Man…

Being native american, I don’t have a problem with it. Proves our natural survival superiority.

Good way to be iamtxmilady. But this really is the way reality tv should go. Have these 15 minutes of fame seekers really battle it out. A good body count would do wonders for ratings.

iam, thank you, i find it amusing how many people are ready to be “offended” on someone else’s behalf, when the supposedly offended people couldn’t care less about the item in question. It also comes to mind that many “offended” people cease to be offended the minute a monetary settlement is discussed.

Gee should I be offended or not? So many decisions. Reading the comics is so difficult these days.

That show, I’d watch. Not the ones they put on.

now they’ve finally given me a reason to watch a “reality” show

Okay who let Mr/Ms. Sanctimonious in here? Now we have to open a window and let the stink out. Thom Bluemel has an outrageous funny and skewed sense of humor. I f you don’t like it “prider”, don’t read it! Being nasty with name calling is totally unnecessary.

Well, if there’s not going to be any monetary settlement then I won’t bother being offended. I like your idea of a reality show, Thom.
