My grandma and mom always used butter on the turkey - made the whole cholesterol experience delicious, fattening and thankfully, filling. In fact, now that I think of it, everything is better with butter!

Reminds me of a Bit on Bob and Tom, an episode of Mr. Obvious. A Male Caller had been attempting to Cook a Live Turkey for five years.
