If you are going to San Diego Comic-Con this week, I’ll be signing free prints and postcards all weekend. I’ll also have some original art for sale … and we’ll have FREE limited edition “Badlands” posters at the Thursday GoComics signing! So make sure you stop by and say hello!

Chubby Brocoli first noticed Brosnan when he was watching his wife on the set of “For Your Eyes Only”, and remarked he’d make a great James Bond. That was the start of, what to me, the best James Bond of them all. If Sean Connery defined Bond, Brosnan epitomized him. The CGI was over done on ""Die Another Day" though. Totally unrealistic, which had always been the Bond franchise persona. You knew it was real.

I’ve always ranked the Bonds, so far, like this:

    1) Sean Connery
    2) Daniel Craig (very close to the Bond of the books — Bond is a brute in them)
    3) Pierce Brosnan (though the series needed the reboot when they ended)
    4) Timothy Dalton (able to convey that Bond is dangerous, something may of the movies have forgotten)
    5) George Lazenby (did a good job in spite of having a tough act to follow)
    6) Roger Moore (admitted himself that he couldn’t act and just too “pretty” in the role)

    Let the outrage begin

I don’t know. I rather liked Roger Moore in the role.
