Actually, this reminds me of a Johnny Carson skit. I believe he was playing Karl Malden in an American Express commercial. The pie thrower couldn’t hit Johnny straight on. “What will you do?”

Reminds me of the movie: The Great Race…………..Mancini wrote the music, and my favorite was “The Pie in the Face Polka”. There was a pie fight, everyone gets splattered, but Tony Curtis’ character walks through the whole scene without a smear……until the end.
