   I’m learning a lesson about letting myself become too valuable at work, I think they’re trying to kill me
   

   
   Night crew manager had surgery a few weeks ago and my be out for up to another month
   

   
   The new store manager is sharp enough to see I can’t really run both departments so I’m running Frozen Foods and ordering the grocery loads
   

   
   With 40 hours I can do it, but just barely
   

   
   Don’t mind the work, but the regional manager has taken a special interest in our store and now I’ve been spending way too much time “conferencing” with management for my taste

    I’m having a massive hash brown shortage on this end – so keep ’em coming with the sea salt and Tabasco until I tell you to stop. With OJ and AHDCM, of course, to wash them down.

    Mostly I’m feeling sorry for you. I would not be a happy camper if I found out you worked yourself to death.
    
    I actually need some social contact at work, provided it serves some useful purpose (“useful”, in my case, capable of broader interpretation than with some).
