cleo, I dive less around here and more in clear warm water. Around here the water is so cold and the visibility is so poor, it’s not as much fun. That said, I am NOT opposed to crabbing and spear fishing, especially for rock fish & ling cod!

The waters up here are pretty clear. But, I understand the desire to dive in warm waters. I used to spend my winters in the Florida Keys. I still remember this young guy who was a reporter for a newspaper in New Jersey. He came down to the Keys to get certified. We spent every evening in the strip clubs. We were both working at getting certified there. LOL

I have dove all points of the Florida Keys from Largo to Key West. LOVE IT!! There is some relatively clear water up around Edmunds and in Hood Canal, especially Octopus Hole.
