hi bigg & Marg. just got in from meteor viewing (and attempting photographing). got in from work, picked up the camera, and then drove around 20 miles north of home to try to get out of the “glow” of the big smoke (and i live in what used to be the suburbs, but has now been built out to). forgive the grammar, or lack thereof, but it’s a smidge late for me. i was on an escarpment ridge and got a full view of the city lights on the horizon. the meteors were pretty good to look at, and i was glad to be able to see stars, for once. hope the photos turn out. i was experimenting a bit because i haven’t used my remote much - especially using the “bulb” setting - but i’ll see.
thanks for breakfast bigg, but i’ll just have the peanut butter on 12 grain bread, toasted, as a kind of midnight snack - since i’ll be going to bed shortly. i’ll do a quick drop in again before i sign off, but for now it’s time to go sailing through the toons. (man! is this a verbose post!) TTFN!

what’ll be next then, a tie dye t-shirt with a head bandanna ,and a talking lingo of Cheech and Chong while smoki………..
I better stop before I get out of hand.
See everybody I’m learning how to control myself.

Good morning and Happy THURSDAY!!!
I thought leg warmers was more of an 80s thing.
bigg that breakfast was great - you always do a good job at it, but this morning I was really hungry.
yyguy I saw those meteors years ago, since then I can’t remember to check it out. I guess I could go outside now and see if I can catch anything.
shika give the fantasy football a try. I know a little about baseball (still don’t care for that sport) and even less about hockey, but I still had fun with those fantasy sports. If you don’t have to be in first place it’s just something to do. Lonewolf/Johnny any advice you want to give people about fantasy sports - I think you two are the experts on that.

Good morning all!
Today will be another of those days where I have little or no time to chat. So that is why I won’t be here much over the next few days. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
johnnydoc5 said, 3 months ago
Hi Akenta! I thought leg warmers was a thing of the 80’s too. They are making a comeback though.
Josh 1360 said, 3 months ago
Let’s hope tights and leotards make a comeback as well. Josh told me when he was little, he used to see women exercise with then on TV. He said these days the only ones wearing those outfits now are little girls taking ballet lessons. Good Morning, Tribe.

Morning, tribe. I’ve always been fond of tie-dye myself. It hid the minor stains that always found me in the 70s. OK, I’ll stop now, but I did enjoy the 70s - w/o - the aid of legal or illegal substances!

Good Morning to All and to All a Happy Thursday!!!
Bigg–Excellent breakfast menu. I’ll have the bagels with cream cheese, and a cinnamon roll with ….you guessed it…..some Nuked Coffee from the pipeline. Thank you!

Hi Johnny—Good to hear you when you can stop in.
Hi Akenta—How are you dear?
Shika I agree on trying the Fantasy Football. They give you all the numbers you need to play the games and rank your players. They could list them by numbers instead of names and you still would be able to compete. And it is a lot of fun, whether you’re in first or last.
Same for all others at* *the Big Top, Try it*, *you might like it* *and around here everybody is* *ready to* *help/assist if* *needed!

Good point D>F! Must not have been there, but I know many of the people around me in the 70s seemed to have continued the fun & freedom of the 60s. I think they’d see both decades as one blur…O well…

Good Morning Tribe!
I remember the 70s and 80s fondly, if vaguely.
Aerobics hotties in leg warmers, oh yeah, good memories.
My first wife was into aerobics and it was, shall we say, beneficial.
Our Tribal rules seem so simple, but they must be hard for some people (and cows)

About fighting over breakfast at SOTU, it reminds me of the parable about Heaven and Hell. In Hell, everybody sits at a sumptuous banquet, with platters and vast bowls of lovely food–only the silverware has six foot long handles, and everybody is cursing and angry that they cannot eat anything.
In heaven, everything is the same–except that they are feeding each other.
Maybe that’s the difference between the Tribe and the denizens of SOTU.
Pardon me for introducing a religious theme, but that’s the only story that came to mind…

Lonewolf - Maybe Dry was trying to warn us about her legs.
I’ll have to check them out very closely to see what’s so dangerous about them.
bmonk - Thanks for the link, someday I may even figure out how to do that myself.
I’ve heard that story before about Heaven and Hell, it is a great analogy for the Tribe and the SOTU crowd

Terry who cares if one looks good in leg warmers when its 10 degrees outside?!
Josh 1360 said, 3 months ago
To answer your question Lone Wolf, I’m having a little problem getting a reply from GoComics in my email. So Josh told me I can use his account temporary. I’ve been checking everyday since I join your group this past Tuesday. Tell you What, I’ll leave now and check my e-mail, then reply later.
