I wonder if we will see a new Gina…one who is no longer sure of herself, maybe one with a bit more humility?

Why do they keep sayiing he won? He only answered one question. And OBTW, Mr. Peirce: It’s a cheap gag to make fun of a kid with a lisp. Worse, it’s not funny.

In what way am I making fun of him? That’s just the way he talks, just like Artur speaks in broken English and Coach John talks like a psycho drill sergeant. I’m making fun of Gina in this strip, not Peter. Peter’s the hero, not the butt of a cheap gag. But of course you’re free to read whatever you like into the strip. I appreciate the feedback, whether it’s positive or negative. Thanks for reading.

Thank you Lincoln for weighing in on this. Peter’s lisp is accepted by the other characters. If we were making fun of him, there would be cheap shots at him. The lisp just is. We need to accept people as they are, as do the characters in this strip. No one makes fun of Artur’s broken English or Coach John. Or anyone else.
