He’s also much taller than the other children. Isn’t he too tall for this game?

Interesting name, “Devon Kendall”. I think I knew Kendall Devon in grade school. Might be Devon’s Mirror Grandpa.

Hmm……14 assists doesn’t make him seem like a ball hog….but 45 points……

I’ve often thought the game of basketball would be made more interesting if the height of the basket above the floor was made the same proportionate distance above the mean height of the N.B.A. players as the current regulation 10’ is to the mean height of the U.S. male population.
.
Mean height of the U.S. male population: 70 inches
.
70 x ∆ = 120
.
∆ = 1.7142857142857142857142857142857 (aren’t large-field calculators great?)
.
Mean height of the N.B.A. players: 79 inches
.
79 × 1.7142857142857142857142857142857 =135.42857142857142857142857142857 (Call it 135.4 inches)
.
135.4 inches = 11’ 3.4"
.
Just a thought.

Alexikakos – that’s quite a bit of thought for this early in the day. I’m going back to bed.

@garrettthegreat59
Exactly! If you take a cross-section of 6th graders, some of them look like they’re still in 3rd or 4th grade, and others look ready for high school.

In addition, if you took a cross section of high school students, some look like they should be in middle school and some look like they should be in college.
