    It reminds me of the time I asked my parents what they thought each other when they first met (they both worked at a restuarant in England).

    ME: Mum, what did you think of Dad when you met him?

    MUM: A big show-off.

    ME: ( I asked them when they weren’t in the same room ). Dad, what did you think of Mum when you met her?

    Ah, a product bought before planned obsolescence became the norm! Like that lightbulb in a Livermore CA firehouse, what is it, a century old and still working. Then there’s the 134-year-old fruitcake . . . . I admit, that’s not quite the same . . .
