Aspiring cartoonist Nate Wright is the star of Big Nate, the daily and Sunday comic strip distributed by NEA since 1991. Nate is 11 years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth grade Renaissance Man. Nate, who lives with his dad and older sister, enjoys pestering his family and teachers with his sarcasm.

Mr Peirce, why Francis is the only character with a gap between his front teeth? I don’t know about the other characters, but I’ve only noticed Francis.

thats a bit harsh that was only with kelly , and he didnt like her as much as he liked jenny so of coarse he broke up with her . but the silly thing is is that jenny is actually quite an awfull person and i think nate would realize that if they went out .

I’m confused. I’m 70% British/English, 20%Irish and 10% Australian and I sound more Irish than I sound British. I mean, when I try and say ‘three’ I can’t! I say ‘tree’. Any other English or Irish people commenting?
