    I don’t believe this. How could these two reach the ages they are and need to research thunderstorms on a cell phone? They act like they’ve never been out in the rain before.

    I know this a comic strip (and a Canadian one at that), but both US and Canadian citizens have to realize you can’t rely on research on a computer/phone/pad for everything unless it’s something that’s really important. A little common sense was all that was needed to shelter those two from a storm.

    I know a couple of people who have to ask their phone if it is ok wipe their butts, when their done on the toilet.

    isn’t it the idea that they are using their phones to find the latest advice the very thing that is suppose to make this funny? I humor is only funny if you can relate. And dogs who need to go out cannot be denied, thunder or not.

    This storyline is totally believable. As ptlover says, there are people who are literally not able to function in life without the constant use of their phones. Even if they have learned life skills, they forget them when they know that they can rely on the Internet as a replacement for their natural grey matter. It’s wonderful that we live in a world where so much valuable information is at our fingertips, but we can’t forget that we are also human beings with information systems of our own …
