That sure is a evil looking canine. I guess thinking you pay too much in taxes is now considered evil?

Taxes? Paying too much at steak houses brought down Cantor. The man shelled out nearly as much for deductible ‘EATING’ expenses as Brat paid for his entire election campaign. People notice these little discrepancies.

We’ll see if Brat’s opinions, philosophy, and past speeches will factor against him at the polls – even in as red a district as his.

Unfortunatley, only SOME people notice! Not nearly enough!

Only 12% or so voted, Brat might not win in a real election.

It was the primary. Head to head with a Democrat, it is possible to produce different results for brat.

A benefit is that a bad incumbent is unlikely to return to do more damage to America’s Middle Class.
    .
More republicans incumbents need to be vote out.

The problem with finding a weapon you can use against your enemy is forgetting that it can be used against you as well.

If you think that ‘paying too much in taxes’ is the real reason for the continued existence of the Tea Party, then you have not been paying close attention, and for some time now.

The demographics are all trending toward the Democrats. New voters register as Democrats twice as often as they do as Republicans ( though more than half register as independents). But, in general, they are relatively liberal. There have been previous situations where one party was the subject of “The Party’s Over” books. But they were able to come back by appealing to demographics that the other party didn’t have in their pocket. The only people that aren’t solidly in agreement with Democratic positions are far left wingers and far right wingers. There aren’t enough far right wingers to win a national election. The Republicans can’t make their tent big enough to include the far left wingers without the people already in the tent setting it on fire. It’s pretty hard to imagine a situation where any of the available Republicans can beat any of 5-8 possible Democratic candidates, and most incumbents are reelected. That means we are most likely going to have a Democratic president through 2024, by which time a huge number of those angry old white guys that are now the bulk of the Republican base are going to be dead. The upshot is that there is a darn good chance that we will never again have a Republican president.

Wow. This strip demonstrates an ignorance of the history of the Tea Party movement, of the current state of the Tea Party, and of the significance of Eric Cantor’s primary loss all at the same time. But at least its portrayal of the Tea Party is politically correct.

Your use of “Old White Guys” is prejudice on three levels: age, race, and gender.
Every poll shows that this is a center-right nation, so I wouldn’t be so sure that your scenario is correct.

Awww, don’t worry, FAUX will tell them they are winning by skewing the polls right up to the election, so they can claim the elections were stolen by illegal immigrants that each voted in 50 different districts 100 times each.

If I were you I’d be getting my excuses ready for why Dems were “shellacked” (Obama’s term) in the next election, not vilifying FOX.

In fact, I can already hear your political overlords proclaiming they lost the Senate because of gerrymandering, even though there is no such thing as gerrymandering Senatorial districts.
