While 2014 is still a long way away in the matter of politics, if the tea party types force the Republican Party to do this, then it certainly does not look to good for Republican politicians in general for the 2014 election. And this is even with all of the voter suppression laws, gerrymandering, and the support of most of the wealthy in this country.

<p. Personally, I do not want to see a one party rule, be it Republicans or Democrats, but if one party is bent on suicide, then what is to be done to bring Republican moderates out to vote? Any reasonable suggestions? Especially by the few Republican moderates, and even the few thinking conservatives, on this site?

Only in a bigot’s fantasies, Sargent can’t lie away what we say so all he can do is preach our violent deaths.

I hope you are not holding your breath waiting for reason.
Although the comments cannot get any worse now, I do hope this is not representative of America.

The rest of the world must think we are pretty stupid letting the Tea Party which is a minority of the minority Gop, dictate terms to the majority.
If they manage to lower the US credit rating again the whole world will know we are fools to let the crazies run the asylum.

Another bit of profundity from the left – a caricature of a conservative looking like a nut job. Wait a minute – haven’t I seen this general theme running before? Hey but I thought they were all creative geniuses…?

Wow, harsh. Where do you read that in this cartoon?

We let Progressive Leftist Democrats have total control for two whole years and saw the economy collapse, the disaster of Obamacare passed on a midnight questionable vote, and government unable to run anything.
Now that same bunch is whinning over not getting their way on a single budget item and the media and Democrats are blaming the Republicans for that behavior. Talk about delusional projection!

    Right… the collapse didn’t start until January 20, 2009.

Great cartoon. People seem to read so much into it.

A recent ABC News/Washington News poll showed 90% were against the Unaffordable Act. Just tonight a guest on Coast to Coast AM, said BC/BS told him to expect a 38% rise in his insurance costs.

Let’s see, gas doubled since Jan ‘09, more people on food stamps, less people working now than in Jan ’09, our debt went up by over $7T dollars in the same period. We are drilling less oil wells on public land than in ’09. Fewer doctors are working now. More scandals are happening since Jan ’09. Yea let’s let the Proggies run things.

Oh and let’s not forget $85B worth of fake money buying T-Bills every MONTH. When it ends we are all poorer for it. More people unemployed today then before Jan’09. The labor force smaller than under Carter. The only thing Barry has done is make Carter not be the worst president ever.
