    If this doesn’t show people that corporations have the GOP in their pocket nothing will.

    And of course the ditto heads believe Bonehead (despite the fact that they keep harping about all legislation originates in the house). That’s why they’re constantly attacking the president to get things done.

    Boehner should just resign.

    Boehner, the most worthless speaker of the house ever. Congress polls at an all time low thanks to Republicans.

    @wbr

    “house has passed over 19 job bills [ i have lost count]”

    I have stopped counting, because not all of them have been jobs bills. For example, one bill with the acronym “JOBS” (standing for Jumpstart Our Business Startups) passed both houses and was signed by the president, who praised it for its ability to help the country. The only problem is that it had nothing to do with jobs: it was written specifically to remove some of the public’s protections from banking excesses from Dodd-Frank, essentially making the banks less accountable for questionable actions. But, just like the “Clean Air Act” reduced pollution controls, it had a very attractive-sounding name. Almost as though it were a jobs bill.

    I no longer trust what I’m told is the content of a bill, and I’m not sure anyone should. So, how many of those jobs bills truly addressed jobs? Maybe if someone were to read it before it was passed…..

    Agreed that Mr. Reid is a great part of the problem. He should have enough trust in his fellow senators that bad legislation should not be able to get through the Senate. Or at least modified before passage. But he does not allow for that, and that is reprehensible.

    Steve King says stupid stuff and they turn on him. Boehner says things that are even stupider, and they keep him on as Speaker.

    Cartoon error: That worker should be shown trying to tear down the building the crew is trying to build.

    @PAJ

    Pelosi polled better than Boehner and cried less than Boehner the worst head of the house in history.

    The house has passed dozens of bills that Reid won’t even bring to the floor of the senate for debate.

    What dumb things does Steve King say?? The fact that some people disagree with the things he says doesn’t make him dumb – it just means there are people who don’t like his opinions. Steve King is working for those who elected him – we could use a lot more like him. He supports his constituents.
