    ^ That’s funny.
I read a couple of articles that say Texas might be a blue state “soon.”

I ope you are right rockngolfer. Kids in almost all states ,and all red states, are getting the short end of the stick.

I’ve been hearing the same. Hopefully, they can undo the harm these clowns are doing then.

I could say that’s Perry funny, but some tight-butt Republican might get offended…

Kentucky is really in the news the last couple of days.
Apparently McConnell did an ad against Ashley Judd.
She lives in Tennessee, but heck, Hillary Clinton didn’t live in New York and she won Senate.

From the Texas Tribune: “The Texas Legislature cut more than $5 billion from public education in 2011 to help balance the state budget. Then, last month, lawmakers were told previous revenue estimates were wrong — and that they had more than $8 billion left to spend on that budget.”

Being a red state it follows the mantra of “Keep America Stupid.” Wouldn’t want them kids finding out why their parents are poor.

Just think of how much money Texas WOULDN’T have if they had a personal income tax!

Regressive sales taxes, fees for every imaginable public service, and highest property taxes in the nation.

Sounds like Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts. Lower “taxes,” but charge people for everything (so they get everything in New Hampshire, which only has exorbitant property taxes…but wicked cheap booze!).

    Talking about California again?

You are joking, they don’t call it ‘taxachusetts’ for nothing.

Please, last time I looked MA ranked something like 36th in taxes per $1000 of income. Sure we pay a lot of taxes as an absolute value. We’re richer than just about everybody else.

In NY state, we get paid enough to pay our taxes. If people want to take a 50% pay cut to move to a place that has no state income tax, they probably aren’t worth what they’re making already.
