Rick Perry? It’s really not clear.

Rick Perry has been a good Governor my only real issue is that he has been in office for three terms so yes his poll numbers are going to go down.
The thing you got to remember about Ben is that Texas liberals they are true believers. “As in they Believe they don’t care for what they know”.

Yesh, it’s Governor Good Hair – Sargent is a Texas cartoonist.

I bet he leave an Oil Slick when he sinks!

Rick Perry never had a competitive election until the Republican primaries, so it’s not surprising that he’s gotten this far as a lousy candidate. He revealed himself as a craven, corrupt, cruel, and not very bright person. It reflected badly on the state of Texas, so no surprise he’s lost popularity.

@ARodney
No, Ok how has he shown himself as a craven, corrupt cruel and not a very bright person.

Based on observation of Texas politics — including the creationist former head of the school textbook committee (appointed by Perry), the “self-regulating” chemical industry that poisoned half the state, and Rick Perry himself, it ain’t the LIBERALS who substitute belief for knowledge…

motivemagusv: You left out trying to levy war against the United States by trying all over again what failed in 1861, stealing funds from the public school system (hinted at), refusing to enforce workplace safety laws, executing innocents, gerrymandering, reintroducing the poll tax by calling it voter ID, inability to remember three talking points in a debate, etc. I could probably come up with several more by researching.

Critical thinking is not to be taught in Texas, not below the level of university. Wouldn’t want the good old boys thinkin’ for themselves.
Donald Williams said, 4 months ago
Y’all can just lay off criticizin’ my home state of Texas! Hell, a distant cousin of mine was governor in years gone by.
.
Just stop to think about all them Presidents that were from Texas (either born or adopted):
1) Dwight D. Eisenhower
2) Lyndon B. Johnson
3) George H. W. Bush
4) George W. Bush
Ain’t we Texans P-R-O-U-D ? (Well, Ike was purty good, I guess.) Did I miss anybody?

@Donald Williams
Dwight D. Eisenhower was both a great man, and an excellent president, and Texans should be proud of him!
As for the others, well……..

@jack75287
Obviously you missed his run for President.
MortyForTyrant said, 4 months ago
Well, the reasons his numbers are going down is that 1) his first name is Rick, 2) his last name is Perry and 3), ahh, 3), ohh, 3)… I’d say EPA, maybe?…
masterskrain said, 4 months ago
@Donald Williams
Well, one out of four isn’t ALL that good of an average…

Is it time for Rick Perry to call it quits as Texas governor?
More than six in 10 Texas voters — including 34% who describe themselves as “very conservative” — say it’s time for Perry to step aside, according to a Public Policy Polling survey. That compares with 31% of Texas voters who say Perry should seek re-election in 2014.
