Tired of "politically correct?" Want an editorial cartoon that is quick to call out the bumblings of U.S. politics and cuts slack to no one? Pulitzer-Prize winner Ben Sargent is paying attention and making Washington have second thoughts about that little thing called the First Amendment.

So many people say that they’ll move to Canada. Canada has socialized medicine, high taxes and good schools.
What they really want is Mexico. No medicine, low taxes and poor education; a place where you can truly be free and fend for yourself!

What I do not understand is exactly what rights has the federal government been taking away from the average American?
Heck, while I disagreed with many of the policies of the GW Bush administration I certainly did not feel that they were taking away any of my constitutionally guaranteed American Citizens rights at all. And I feel that way even more under the current administration, even though I also disagree with at least some of their policies also.
And in fact, those that are the leaders advocating what could easily be called treasonous behavior could lose all their civil rights by being tried for treason and sent to federal prison, if not outright executed. However, I do not think that even mild rebukes will be forth coming, (unless actual violence is committed by these people, then all bets are off) as these people represent a totally miniscule percentage of even voters, let alone the total population. The best course for the government (again, outside of actual violence) would be to totally ignore such a fringe element in American society.
This will be my last post on this particular subject, as I too wish to totally ignore such insanity, as well as any posters on these comment boards that are stupid enough to countenance such activities!!

Actually, Mexico has a very good system you only pay roughly 600 USA bucks and get all the health care you need.

The Republican Party will try anything to descredit the Federal government and a democratic president. They have no respect for people different from themselves.

Alec Baldwin swore he would leave the USA if Bush was elected to a 2nd term, Bush was elected to a 2nd Term, and Baldwin did not leave.

@DrCanuck
Remember when so man swore they would leave in 2004 if Bush was reelected to a 2nd Term? You supported this move. Bush was reelected, and those who swore they would leave stayed.
Why do you support Democrats who vow to leave USA if a Republican is elected as President, yet vilify Republicans who vow to leave if a Democrat is elected President?
