Tired of "politically correct?" Want an editorial cartoon that is quick to call out the bumblings of U.S. politics and cuts slack to no one? Pulitzer-Prize winner Ben Sargent is paying attention and making Washington have second thoughts about that little thing called the First Amendment.

“I’m meeeeeelltinnnnngggg….”. Wizard of Oz, right? But there is truth in this ’toon, just today Rachel Maddow did an interview with a former skeptic who now says the IPCC was right. Took him a few years to do his own research, but he got there in the end…

Richard Muller, former “prime sceptic” and “denier”, from Berkeley, has backed down, and “seen the light”, BBC report.

Who was that cartoonist that used to do the “There’s no global warming!” cartoons every winter? Did he melt? Or die of embarassment?
.
This hot summer is not evidence of Global Warming. It’s evidence of a hot dry summer. They happen.
.
Not to say there is no evidence of GW. I can buy that it’s getting warmer, but the rise need only be a few degrees. This isn’t “it” and we need to keep that front and center. otherwise, the next cool summer will be the “Phew, I was worried there for a minute!” summer.

Unlike “denial”, climate change, and yes warming, not just “this summer thing”, are real, proven by the sciences, multiple, botany, oceanography, physics, zoology, and chemistry, would that it were only a “unicorn”, like the myths of religionists. Faith in a greater thing is fine, refusing to accept the results of our actions, isn’t faith, it’s stupidity.

AGW is Dem Lib’s Densense……Their fix? Live in Cities, use only Public Transportation. Give up a/c and heat. Vacation in your local park. Eat local food (in Cities ?) No meat………..You know all the things Dem Libs wanted you to do before AGW was created for their proposes.

I never deny that the climate changes…Just that Al Gore and his ilk have no idea what to do about it…nor that it is necessarily an anthropogenic phenomena in the first place. So get outta my face!

Richard Muller was also in the New York Times with his admission that Global Warming is most certainly caused by man’s activities and use of fossil fuels. The Deniers are getting educated, at least some of the fools are awakening.

Thanks. It’s actually embarrassing, some years back i build my homepage with just a text editor, but once you convert to a WYSIWYG-editor the HTML just drains away…
