Tired of "politically correct?" Want an editorial cartoon that is quick to call out the bumblings of U.S. politics and cuts slack to no one? Pulitzer-Prize winner Ben Sargent is paying attention and making Washington have second thoughts about that little thing called the First Amendment.

Since when has Rick Perry EVER been relevant?
dfowensby said, about 1 year ago
Looks like Texas is the new haven for fruits, nuts and religious wackos.
jack75287 said, about 1 year ago
A govenor of a population of over 26 & 1/2 million is not relevant. Come on guys you can do better.

@jack75287
I live inTexas. You’d be surprised how irrelevant he is.

Why is he campaigning to the homeless? Everyone knows they will vote for the democrat for a cigarette and a drink.
ARodney said, about 1 year ago
…or maybe they’d vote Democratic because the GOP has made it very clear that it wants them to die in the street. But homeless citizens, even veterans, won’t be able to vote if the GOP gets their way. Pretty soon the voting rolls will be back to “property owning white men.”
Ms. Ima said, about 1 year ago
Oh, that explains why homeless people are rounded up on election day, given a drink and a cigarette and told to vote democrat. Because the Republicans thoughts are somehow being intercepted by the liberals.

As I have told you before, you really seem to have no idea how little power the Governor of Texas has. Perry actually had more power when he was LIEUTENANT Governor.

@Ms. Ima
If that tactic is effective, then why isn’t the GOP using it? I’m sure that Phillip Morris and the other tobacco companies would kick in.

I see the liberals agree with me regarding liberals buying homeless votes.

Just for the record do you ever say anything truthful?

Easy answer to that….NO!

Perry is very relevant to late night comedians and those of us who like a laugh.
The Dems have ready made material this election. Even though most of the GOP candidates have fallen off the primary clown car, people can still be reminded on a daily basis of the whack jobs who appeal to a great many conservatives. Try as he might to suddenly pretend he’s “moderate”, there’s no way Romney can squirm out of the fact that the people who supported these clowns are now supporting him, and his history of changing his tune indicates that he won’t stand up to them.
