Why Perry? Why not Obama who can not explain where millions given to his campaign came from. Press sure seems to suck up to Obama.

All political runners should be issued a jump suit and when they go up to talk they should look like a Nas Car driver.

The corporate owned far “right” conservative media does not suck up to anybody. Their corporate owners set the agenda.

Have you noticed that NONE of the teabaggers here are trying to deny that Perry’s been involved in influence peddling? All they can do is say. “But OBAMA did so-and-so….”

Not one of which do they even attempt to back up with a link or a logical argument.

Looks like Perry scares Barack Obama more than anyone since Donald Trump made BHO show his birth certificate. Maybe, Barack Obama should just quit now.

I thought Obama already took it nation wide with the Unions. Don’t forget he is trying to close the new Boeing plant why, because it was not built in a pro-union state.

M Kitt as bad as S’s comments were please I think you just went way to far. How many white Republicans have been wrongly called racist, how many black Republicans have been called Uncle Toms. You cannot go twenty minutes on the Chris Mathew’s show with out him bringing up the word racist.

“people of color”. that sounds just so hoity-toity, nice PC version of “colored people”. in the 50’s, it was whites, and coloreds. in the 60’s, it was whites, and negroes. in the 70’s, it was whites, and afro-americans. in the 80’s, it was whites, and blacks. in the 90’s to present, it’s whites and african-americans. now it’s back to colored, again. make up your minds, already!

Here we go again…can’t deny Perry is into influence peddling…so you try to shift the argument to Obama.

Without anything to back it up but YOUR say-so.

BTW. If Obama is so deep in the pocket of the Unions, how come he never showed up in Wisconsin for any of the Solidarity rallies?

Whereas Perry bailed out of doing the state’s business to go talk to ( get marching orders from? ) the Koch brothers.

Our political system is designed specifically for this purpose. If you want to get elected you need money, and to get money, you do favors. Its very simple. And now that the Supreme Court has given corporations personhood, lots more money is at play, so there’s lots more favors to do. This is simply the way it works. Get used to it.

There is a long tradition, particularly in Texas, of support for the idea that the more money you have, the more power you should have.

Texan, H.L. Hunt wrote a little book about his utopia, Alpaca(1960). Chapter 1 begins with “Graduated Suffrage in Apaca” which gives “additional votes to citizens qualified to vote, as determined by their direct National taxpaying record during the year previous…”

Then you ADMIT that Obama is not making influence deals with the unions?. Must not be, if he’s shining them on to the point that he’s taking their votes for granted.

vhammon, thanks for the reminder of “Hunt” and Texas- still have a couple bags of silver coins my parents-in-law bought at the urging of the Hunts. If we keep them another couple hundred years, they may go back up to the price they paid for them.
