How did he get past Uncle Dick so fast!
vicariousviper said, about 1 year ago
it’ll be sad as he is using it in the fireplace to keep warm when he puts cap-n-trade on coal burning elecrical plants. oh wait that’ll just be us.

vv –
Think of cap-and-trade as using the free market to drive independence from nonrenewable resources.

And don’t forget it like the past four administrations did.

VV – there is no way Obama could surpass the contempt for law that the outgoing administration had. He is a Constitutional scholar, I believe he has a tremendous respect for the Constitution. I for one will keep my eyes open to ensure that he does.

“He is a Constitutional scholar, I believe he has a tremendous respect for the Constitution. I for one will keep my eyes open to ensure that he does.”
There you go, already showing how little you know about the new President you voted for, He has already said in an old interview that He would like to change (amend) the Constitution to address portions *He* feels are lacking….like *”Economic inequalities” etc
It was played on the Radio shows many times, but I guess this was not important before, not until now……
Like I said before..Get ready for a bumpy ride…..

Mach, yup a bumpy ride alright. W’s new numbers aren’t the greatest, gonna need lots an’ lots of damage control.
vicariousviper said, about 1 year ago
mach is refering to a youtube edit that was rotating around. the original audio came from WBEZ Chicago Public Radio. i agreed with it once when only hearing the edit, but when i rexamined the original clip and put it in context it becomes somewhat iffy. please listen to it yourselves.

Mach seems to have forgotten how his buddies on the right want to amend the Constitution to put an end to things like gay marriage and flag burning.
And ROFL! A collapsing economy, a war overseas, a rotting infrastructer, a massive deficit, spiraling unemployment, more and more people without health insurance…
And Machado is telling us to, “get READY for bumpy ride.”
Priceless…ab-so-LU-te-ly priceless!

Simon_Jester, seems as though Mach has let Castro’s predecessor fade into the dreams of times gone by.

ralphman it should be happening every day in a free democratic society - oh, maybe it is - even while ‘Publicans were in office.

It doesn’t matter WHEN it happens again, only that it MAY!
ralphman said, about 1 year ago

Nobody forced Americans to vote for Bush in 2000 and again in 2004 - and he won… OF, BY, AND FOR THE PEOPLE - hear it and weep DEMS. Oh, the next four years are going to be so much fun!
