    A tattoo on a pretty girl is a turnoff. On an ugly girl, who cares.

    Can’t see her ponytail in the 1st panel, makes her look like her mom’s twin.

    I agree. An’ a tat on a older woman looks desperate!
    (Older men, too!)

    I agree with you simsonfan2. A tattoo on anyone makes them look common.

    Today’s cute tattoo is next year’s saggy, runny blob. No thanks.

    Tattoos and/or piercings are neither improvements, nor signs of intelligence, especially with age.

    back in the day the only people with tats were bikers, seamen and some grunts (usually marines), and Yakuza. I recall issues of Iron Horse that had some fantastic work. full color japanise wood cut stuff.
    today what I see mostly looks like you were bored during 4th period study hall and you doodled on yourself with a Bic stick and your only so-so as an artist.

    Does a tattoo count if no one can see it but a medical professional doing a close inspection?

    While I believe in freedom of choice, I personally, don’t want one, and find them a turn off. Body piercing and smoking fall into the same category. Seeing a tattoo on beautiful young woman is like seeing graffiti on a fine piece of art.

    @swr

    Hold on! I know some professionals, doctors, lawyers, professors….who have tattoos.
    .
    It’s our skin and we’ll do what we want with it.
