    Some yard sales have items priced like retail outlets. It is funny when the seller gets indignant when I tell them “This is a yard sale, not a retail outlet.” Some will lower the price, others the item stays on the table.

    the first thing you learn selling shoes is how to get down and dirty on pricing. we operated on “open to buy” and you priced it to move after one year. I remember selling $100 shoes (in the ’80’s) for $10 and a second pair for $7
