when you fix any kind of meat in a skillet, such as sausage, just add a small amount of warm water and scrape all the brown bits off the bottom of the pan and pour on his food, works every time and you don’t have to scrub the pan so much.

Iams also sells gravies that you can splash on the dry food. PetCo has them and they’re fortified with vitamins. My Jesse likes the bacon flavored gravy.

At $1.00 per 5 ounce can or $ 3.10 per pound it can get expensive.
Iams inexpensive?! You have got to be kidding.
@Jennie: Down here we substitude milk and flour for the water and get gravy (people food).

Why use bacon flavored gravy when you can use real bacon grease. I had a vet prescribe that for a dog that suffered from a dry skin. Mix in some garlic powder and you will find the dog is less bothered by fleas and mosquitos.

That is cheaper than a vet visit, plus tuna would cut out on the trauma that always comes with a trip to the vet.
