I know it regenerates, but 2 cups still seems like a lot. Feeling a bit light-headed… need to go lie down….

I have to commend all of you who give blood, I’m unable to – my veins are too small. They can barely get blood when I need lab work.

2 cups is a pint. I gave blood until I was on meds that kept that me from doing it.

    I’m 18 and I’ve been a blood donor for almost a year… (As of January 13th)

My 4th time is next month.

Don’t worry, Ben. You’ll be fine! Fingers are crossed for you.

They should never use the metric system when they answer that question.

Me, too. Pediatic with butterfly needle works for me sometimes.

The way I feel these days any blood taken, even for testing seems like too much.

At my doctor’s surgery, there are two regular nurses. One will find the vein for a blood test on the first try and never goes through the other side. The other takes about 4 attempts, goes right through the vein and I’m still bleeding when I get home and there’s a nasty bruise for about a week. The good one is younger.

They must not have the same degree of parionia in Canada that we have in the US. It can take longer to do the health check and questionarie then to give blood.
At least they got rid of the question about liveing in africa, that alone saved five minutes. Same thing, where in africa, Morroco. When. 1960-62, No problem
I mean I’m on my third card you scan the bar code why do I have to answer the same questions I didn’t suddenly remember being in the UK during Mad Cow
