    That’s why I haven’t had a real tree in years…

Best way to have a real tree is get one from a nursery, still wrapped in a burlap, decorate it & than plant it on your property. that way you not only have a real tree for Christmas, but you save it for generations to enjoy as well as wildlife. Why kill trees just to throw away?

I never heard of anyone being allergic to a Christmas tree — to the resin maybe, but not in the sneezing type way.

My fake tree actually left a little mess, it lost a few needles. Still nowhere near as bad as a real tree.

My son had asthma attacks every Christmas until we found out he was allergic to the fungus that is on almost all live xmas trees. Dr told us to take it to one of the carwashes that are do it yourself…put in coins and spray soapy water at high pressure. Washed it down thoroughly and rinsed it and let it dry and no asthma attacks. We did eventually go to an artificial tree, though.
