Who needs an excuse? I think that kids should be banned from toy shops, playgrounds etc on at least one day a month just to give adults a chance to play.

I buy toys that I like and just play with my kids.

Most of the toys I see today are a far cry from what I would have chosen 60 years ago.

Good old Ben…I still love toy stores/hobby shops.

That is such a fantastic idea. I would love to play on the playground without kids taking all the good swings and yelling at me when my old body is slow getting up the slide steps.

These days, any old guy in a toy store by himself is likely to bring the police for being a perv stalking kids.

Even when he’s not. What happened to “innocent until proven guilty”?

Now that I think about it, I never had toys so I’m not attracted to the toy area. But my mother always brought me with her clothes shopping where I would have to watch her sift through the clothes, which is what I like to do now.

Clothes shopping with Mom is one of many reasons I have chosen to remain single.

If you’re in a drug store. That has all its musical ‘toys’ out and about on the shelves. You know, the kind that say “Press Here” and suddenly you start to hear that tinny music popping up all over the store……. that would be me.
.
I once set off 3 sets of of six singing mice …. get the first set going, do a quick walk down the aisle, do the next group,,,,, its fun. Especially if the only one that catches you is the little kid with the big round eyes. LOL.
