    I thought so ,too, but drying them on the clothesline hasn’t helped, neither.

    And they’re making the new clothes smaller too.

    Actually new clothes are bigger than they used to be. I have to buy pants labled 2 inches smaller than my actual waist measurement or they fall off. Or maybe my butt has just shrunk with age.

    I have that brand of dryer.

    I rarely use the dryer for that reason. I think it’s the closet that’s been shrinking my clothes. It’s happened many times over the years.

    @dbartley53

    My son is a beanpole at 6’ 5". He wears jeans with a 30" waist, 34" leg. When we went to the mall to buy him a new pair for camp, we couldn’t find any in his size. I did see a lot of 38" waist, 30" leg jeans, however. I realize there are shorter, stocky men out there, but these sizes took up half the shelf. So maybe the general population is shrinking height-wise, and growing waist-wise?

    Nah – your boxers are way too big – they take up space you know?!

    No, it’s just that the more popular sizes sold out first. (tee, hee)

    I think it’s a conspiracy between the closet and the dryer.

    @ehtaniguchi

    Go to Kohls. They are geared for the younger man and have more of those sizes.
