    Groan!
Between Arby’s and Wendy’s, that means the carnivores duke it out. No vegetarians are involved.

I could see the conflict if it were between Arby’s and the long gone Roy Rogers, but Wendy’s? When did they start offering roast beef? (Hamburglars don’t count). Even Gino’s tried and failed. I have to admit, though, that if Morgan Smith Goodwin was behind the counter, I might be a Wendy’s regular, Dave Thomas or no.

Roy Rogers isn’t long-gone. It thrives in Maryland, and can be found at numerous turnpike rest stops in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Gino’s came back in 2010, but their two PA restaurants (including their flagship location in King of Prussia, PA) have since closed.
Gino’s still has several restaurants in Maryland, including inside Orioles Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore.

The problem with the new Gino’s is that they are trying to compete against Five Guys instead of their original, successful business model where they competed against McDonald’s. The original Gino’s also had the exclusive Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in the mid-Atlantic states.

Just to be picky; one is a traitor to something not a traitor of something. The punch line should be “A former Arby’s guy goes rogue.”

Wendy’s owned Arby’s until 2011. They retained 18.5% ownership in the deal. Technically, there is no traitor.

I thought Hardee’s bought out Roy Rogers.
At least up in New Jersey.

It gets brutal in the fast food wars. Jack in the Box once had a commercial where Jack painted over the “G” in “Angus Burger” on a McDonald’s billboard. The commercial didn’t last long.

Not a fast food buff so I had to check the menu’s. Wendy’s=square burgers. Arby’s=sliced meat
Rogue is not on any menu, but Reuben does reside at Arby’s.

This is a comic strip not an English class.
    Now you have been ridiculed.

I like Wendy’s, but that red-haired witch in the commercials is ANNOYING!
