Personally, I’d fire any manager that 1. thinks he/she has time to waste surfing the net when they should be working, and 2. assumes that what he/she sees online is true.
    .
How much out there is absolute garbage? How many “pages” are set up by ex-wives/ex-husbands or others wanting to hurt someone?
    .
The faked photos of Abu Gharif should have been a warning to people not to necessarily trust what they see. (In 2004 the editor of the Daily Mirror got fired because he used false photos of Abu Gharib. Seems to have been missed on this side of the Atlantic.)

Almost true, but not quite accurate. The Abu Ghraib pictures weren’t the one the got the manager (Piers Morgan) fired. But some of soldiers urinating on prisoners. There were details wrong about the weapons.
If you believe the prison pictures were fake you should campaign for the soldier imprisoned for her involvement. I think her name was something English.
But this is an old story, and she’s probably released already.
However, the main point is this is a BC cartoon!!!
    Not a political forum.

Why is it always the secretary? All of us secretaries are not “loose women”.

I see you are assuming people only go on Facebook while at work?
    -
Further, if someone heard of something damaging to the reputation of a business, should it be investigated or not?
    -
Just because something CAN be faked doesn’t mean it IS faked. For example what if there were rumors an employee was spending way beyond his means and claiming the company had given him a big raise without knowing about it.
    -
Yes, I know you would let it go since it was on the Internet. Suuuuuure you would.

It isn’t always the secretary. sometimes it’s the bookkeeper. It is SOMETIMES the secretary with which somene makes a fool of himself.
    -
It was not the actions of the secretary in question but the judgment of the person interacting inappropriately with her (or him).

The poster child for misleading images is the animal rights movement. Compared to the them, the government is pure amateur.
