    Trouble with “MMXIII”, is that the Romans didn’t use the birth of Christ as their year ‘zero’…they used the founding of Rome, in 753BC. So, the above date works out to about 1260A.D.. So, MMDCCLXVI would be equivalent to 2013A.D.
