    … caught in the middle with you.
    I thought Hart was religous and did not believe in evolution and transition species.

    @The Life I Draw Upon

    Sadly, Johnny Hart, who created this strip, passed away in April 2007. Mastroianni is now the sole writer for B.C.

    If the teaching of evolution is outlawed, only the outlaws will evolve.

    Religion aside, the “theory” of evolution and that’s all it is “a theory,” flies in the face of the second law of thermodynamics which basically states that the universe is transitioning from a state of order to a state of disorder. Sometimes called entropy.

    My belief is that evolution is a tool God used. Time has no meaning to Him. The six day thing was used so technologically primitive people could relate. Six days? Why not 600 million years?

    Travis, if God “created” then it’s illogical to use a tool – why not just make things as He wanted them. As for the time frame, read the the Book – evening and morning was the 6th day – that’s pretty clear the days of creation were normal solar days. If you hold to a “day-age” theory, I fell sorry for the plants made on day 3 because the sun didn’t appear until day 4

    It was easy in the old days. Just get the trans and rpms to synchronize, but if you get it wrong it’s …Grind me a pound.

    I see some have been swallowing what they’ve been taught instead of looking at the whole picture & learning for themselves. Bottom line of what I’ve found: even from a purely scientific viewpoint, there is no reason to believe that one type of living thing could become a significantly different type of living thing given enough time. Evolutionism as we know was invented purely as a way to try to get rid of God. Period.
