    There was a very early BC cartoon, that featured BC using a dinosaur egg, instead of a rock. The caption read “Anyone who doesn’t like hard boiled eggs, must be crazy”. Or something akin to that.

    Oh come on. The original action – the application of downward force on a lever – transferred that force to the rock on the opposite end sending the rock on it’s own “actionable” course. Once the rock was in the “tube” a new force was applied by the pressure build up and the force displayed was different from the original force applied and so the trajectory was different and the location of impact was as well. If all things had been equal – weight, force, angles and so on then the rock would have returned to it’s original position. Instead….crunch

    But y’all know that….LOL.
