    re: Kaputnik.no, there’s still a few around that can read split-ergative languages… (I’m not one of them)..Don’t know if all the Ebla tablets are translated, but supposedly only about half of the Sumerian/Akkadians’ tablets have been translated..Weird to think that many of them were ordinary business transactions, ledgers, and legal documents. And yet not weird when it’s clear from them that people haven’t changed much— except our accumulation of genetic errors (15,000+ and counting, with 50 to 300 each generation)..My screen name is the Akkadian name for Nabuchadnezzar,
